Companies intending to manufacture, import, let for hire, sell, or offer or possess for sale telecommunication equipment are required to apply for the Telecommunication Dealer’s Licence from the IMDA. For details, you may refer to the Guidelines to Application for Telecommunication Dealers Licence. This also applies to locally registered companies who intends to sell equipment in market place platform.
Online submission of the application can be submitted via GoBusiness Licensing or via the IMDA website under “Regulations & Licensing” ->”Licences” ->”Online Application of Licences” and -> “Business Licence Services”. Please note that you require a CorpPass for the submission of the licence application. To apply for a licence, the company must be a company registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority.
